Jesus teaches, ‘freely you have received, freely give’ (Matthew 10). So as Christians we seek to give and bless others, both with our available time, skills and finances. As a church we support some local causes which you may want to give towards:

As a church, we offer ESOL classes to local people in the community who need to improve their English for social interaction or employment. This improves community cohesion and enables gifted people who are being held back by lack of language skills. We offer the classes for a minimal fee but we cannot fully the cover the costs of the classes. If you would like to give financially towards these classes then you can sponsor a student. A one-off gift or a small regular payment will enable one student to gain the language skills they need to meet people, make friends and play their role in the community and this part of London. Make your payment to the church account and add the reference ‘sponsor’.

As a church we are blessed by an amazing group of local people but we are not a wealthy church. If you would like to support the work of the church and contribute to the running costs of the church (services, cost of a minister, hall hire, refreshments), then you can either set up a standing order or make a one off-gift to the church.

The local food bank in Kent Hall is run by a group of dedicated volunteers from the TRA and provides an essential service in this community. If you would like to give towards the work of the foodbank or help out with deliveries, then contact us and we will put you in touch with the food bank leader.
